Waxing Questions, Answered

Hair should be about ¼ inch long- roughly the size of a grain of rice. If you’ve been shaving, allow about 2-3 weeks of growth before your appointment.

Gently exfoliate 24-48 hours before your appointment and arrive with clean, dry skin. Avoid applying oils or heavy lotions to the area on the day of your wax.

YES! You can still receive a Brazilian wax while on your period. Please arrive wearing a fresh tampon or menstrual cup. You may be a little more sensitive during this time.

You may feel some discomfort, especially during your first wax, but it gets easier with consistency. I work efficiently while keeping your comfort a priority.

For the best results, I recommend returning every 4-6 weeks and avoid shaving between appointments.

For the first 24-48 hours, avoid excessive heat, heavy sweating, pools/hot tubs, exfoliation, and friction on the freshly waxed area.

Certain skincare products and medications can make the skin more sensitive. Please disclose any retinol, prescription skincare, or medications before facial waxing so we can determine if it’s safe to wax.
